The best Doppl alternative.

Google’s Doppl app let you see outfits on a photo of yourself. It shut down on 30 April 2026. Here’s what replaced it, what that replacement can’t do, and how to keep trying on clothes from any store.

What happened to Doppl

Google Labs closed the Doppl app on 30 April 2026 and removed it from the App Store and Google Play. Its try-on technology now lives inside Google Search and Shopping as Google Try On. Google’s notice ↗

Where Google Try On falls short

  • Only Google Shopping listings. You press “Try on” on a product Google lists — you can’t add a screenshot or a photo from any shop.
  • 18 countries. Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, the UK and the US — not most of Europe.
  • Tops, bottoms and dresses. Google says swimwear, lingerie and accessories aren’t supported.
  • 18+ only, and not on sponsored products. Google Try On help ↗

Fitty: try on clothes from any store

  • ✓ Any item from any shop — a product photo or a screenshot
  • ✓ Whole outfits in one image: top, bottom, outerwear, shoes, accessories
  • ✓ Swimwear too, in Swim & more mode
  • ✓ On your real photo, not an avatar
  • ✓ iPhone app and any browser — Android, PC and Mac, in any country
  • ✓ On the web: first try-on free, then one-time credits from $3.99 — no subscription needed

Keep in mind: there’s no native Android app (Android works in the browser), and every try-on is an AI preview, not an exact fit.

Other options

FitRoom, DLOOK and dreamfits also try on images from any store; Zara Try-On works for Zara items in the Zara app. See prices, platforms and features side by side in our comparison of virtual try-on apps.
